List of LGBT and Gender-variant Characters of Glee
(For people who want to reblog the Glee part of my perivous post and not the rest of it.)
Kurt- Flamboyant “stereotypical” gay, friends with mostly girls
Blaine- Fashionable (in some people’s opinion…), but an “alpha gay”, who boxes and is friends with the straight boys and he loves college football
Karofsky- Masculine, football-playing gay, who would be known as a “bear” for being big and hairy. Dealt with internal homophobia and suicidal tendencies.
Santana- Feminine, cheerleading lesbian, who would be known as a “lipstick” for her femininity. Went through a period of questioning her sexuality as bisexuality
Brittany- Feminine, cheerleader, who -honestly- is probably too stupid to know there’s a difference between boys and girls. She’s even said that she’s not a lesbian in one episode, and is probably bisexual
Anne Hathaway’s future Character- apparently she is going to play Kurt’s lesbian aunt. While this should be amazing, she will probably be another feminine lipstick lesbian.
Wade Adams “Unique”- Physically male, but has an “alter-ego” female identity Unique. He feels most comfortable as when he is “Unique”, but his/her exact label (transgender, transsexual, ect.) has not been specified.
Coach Beiste- Very masculine straight female, who does not fall into the “proper” gender category for straight women, and deals with men not being accepting of her appearance
Sebastian- a non regular character, but a “regular guy” who happens to be gay, an antagonist who stops being a jerk after fellow gay Karofsky attempts suicide
“This Guy”- Blaine’s crush at the beginning of his entrance of the show. He is the general manager at a GAP, and appears to be just a “regular guy”.
